Have had this book a day and a half and now it feels like one of my most favorite CD compilations on my shelf I can open it anywhere and read an observant and honest reminiscence about one of the songs I have loved for a lifetime Like flipping through a CD and coming up on a treasured song every random track you listen to They are to be honored forever for inspiring the love of music in each and every one of us I have also ordered Lamont Dozier s separate book.

I have mixed feelings but I could be bias knowing my father uncle and the writer who assisted them in making this book possible As I am the middle child 2nd oldest of 5 children of Brian Holland and most of this stuff was way before my time It s a lot of their history, I didn t know Stories are always told but reading first hand is mind blowing and surprising events through their reflects from their childhood to where they came from to who these men are today I haven t yet finished but I do have some friends that have read the whole book and they said it s a few uncertain facts, times and events that maybe off track or as the music world would say, off key, not in tuned with what others have stated Well, I will have to read on my own and I know that it s their story and maybe out of the five children my father made possible to be here still today may want to write a story on him and as well with my uncle s children too.
